Hello!
I'm Karoline

Certificates

100% upcycled

… and forever recyclable while manufactured with great care for the world ressources.
This is why I came to the world with a clean conscience.

The idea of me was fostered through the wish to reduce the accumulation of plastic waste. Every time a new Karoline chair is birthed, it relieves the collective waste mountain of 1.9 kg plastic. I´m constructed from 100% Scandinavian upcycled plastic and scrap metal, and produced locally in Denmark.

I was designed with the foresight, that all my parts are to be disassembled and reused when time comes for me to go into my next lifecycle.

But my main service to you is to provide you with healthy support and an optimal seating posture, to maintain your comfort while seated. That is why I have been certified for EN1729-1 / EN1729-2.

From cradle
to cradle

Cradle to Cradle (C2C) is about seeing garbage as an eternal resource and doing the right thing from the beginning. It is about making community and product development function in the same way as a healthy ecological system where all resources are used effectively, and in a cyclical way (as opposed to the current linear system that can be better described as a Cradle to Grave system).
